Pink Saturday Goodies!

It is another Pink Saturday! It has been a crazy week and I am so glad that it is Pink Saturday!!!

Well I have some goodies that I bought this week. I found these cute Pink pens at our local Walmart. The candy sprinkles coin purse I got for 99 Cents. I made the pink hair clip for Miss Lily! We have the cutest Toy Store here and that is where I got the cute Pink Dice! I couldn't resist them{They were Pink after all}.

The first blogging friend that I made was Beth. {Stop by and visit her blog she is so much fun.} I had sent her some selvage edges, and she sent me this really cool package of material and some other fun goodies too! Thank You so much Beth!
This is a cute Hobby Lobby find. It was such a good price I had to take a picture of it to show you.
See unbelievable, only $1.59! It is getting a bit of a spruce up and going into the Girls room!
This bit of material is some that Beth sent me. I love the Retro feel to it. I found this cute Summer style drees to make Miss Lily. I am going to use the cute material she sent me.
I had to take a pic of Miss Lilly from a couple of weeks ago. She was just sitting there with me while i was doing Pink Saturday. I couldn't think of anything cuter than Miss Lily sittin in her Pink Bumbo!!

She was keeping me company. Then she decided to feed the box her munchy snack!! What A Girl!!

We Have A First Tooth In The House!!

Miss Lily has been super fussy all weekend, and we could figure out why. She has been pulling herself up and walking around holding on to things, but the thing is now she is brave. So now she is taking one step and falling. Well she did a face plant and hit a toy. She is really sore and bruised in the shape of the outline of a circle on her cheek. I thought well maybe I would use the teething tablet to at lest help her gums because she is frantically been rubbing them. To my surprise as I am rubbing her lower gums in the middle the tooth is protruding out. It isn't just slightly out either. It is really there about halfway out.

Miss Lily turned 8 months on Saturday! I really can't believe how much she has changed and grown. She has the sweetest personality and always full of smiles!

Raspberry Pink Is A Girls Friend!

I found this Awesome Purse pattern on one of my free searches. Who doesn't love a free pattern. I got it from Rae's blog. Her blog is a lot of fun. Go check her out! {btw it is called the Buttercup Bag pattern}

Now I got the fabric from the quilt store we have in Ringgold GA, Sew Bee It. They have a blog too. Besides having a fun blog, they have so much fun fabric and wonderful women who work there. It is an amazing shop. { A small disclaimer, I really am terrible at sewing so don't look too closely} LOL
I have been a Barnes and Noble member for many years now. I love it that not only do you get your 10% discount, you also get coupons. They were doing this promotion with the bag for 9.99 if you purchased 2 things. My 2 things were a Somerset Studio Gallery{Totally Love, Love, Somerset BTW} and an unfinished journal refill. I used some of my scrapbook paper to finish it off. I also used my 50% off one item coupon thru the email. I don't think that my portion of B&N was more than $20. Of course the kids had to have a book too! :)

Years ago I found this really Fun Barbie tissue paper. So I Decoupaged it onto a paper mache box. That was painted Pink of course! ;)

My Wall Of K's!

I have wanted to do this for awhile now. Some of the K's are wood and then most are just Fonts. I used some of my Basic Grey paper. I love Basic Grey. Now the ones I used were from the Urban Couture collection. Now there are a few papers that aren't out of that, but most of them are. I thought that is makes a really nice statement on the wall. I now just need to find a few metal ones to round the whole thing out a bit. It really took a bare spot in my living room and made it feel finished.

Shopping At Walmart. Where Have All The Generics Gone?!!!

I don't know about you, but my Walmart has taken off the shelves a lot of their Generics. The Great Value Brand. Now maybe in my area it causes them to loose money. Walmart really doesn't have much in the way of competition here, so i guess they think they can make up the money by making us buy the name brands and they actually make money on those. I really don't complain about things but now I have to go to 3-4 stores to save money. I don't buy name brand because most generics are just as good. Thank Heavens, I have a Kroger here. They have their generic brand on everything and such a variety. I hope no one takes this the wrong way. It isn't a Diss on Walmart. I love going their just as much as the next person. I just wondered if I was the only one. Plus I would like your ideas about getting around this.

Confessions!

I just wanted to let everyone know what has been going on with me. If I haven't gotten back to you from a comment or an Award that I am so so so sorry. I have had craziness in my life! Between the kids and School for me and School ending for the kids and trying to get things done. I have been very remiss on my blog duties and being a good blog friend. I am not slighting anyone I promise. I am just feeling overwhelmed and can't wait to be able to relax for a bit. I will try to be posting more regularly soon.
