ReplyDeleteAre you moving? If you are, I have a good tip on the way you pack your dishes. I like to pack my dishes with my towels and dish towels around them. That way when I unpack them all I have to do is put them where they belong and they are clean!
Unpacking goes easier if you try to get the necessary items unpacked first. For the bedrooms I like to go ahead and get the sheets and things on the beds as soon as the bed is set back up. Curtains, I try to get them up before I move in or at least some blinds. I think it goes a lot easier and smoother if you are able to label your boxes really good with what room they go in and what items are in the box. That way when you unpack you will know where you want them to be.
We moved 3 times in 1 year and then lived there for a year and a half and moved into the house we are currently living in and we will never move again!!!! hehehe

First, find a room or a corner somehwere that you can set up your TV/DVD player. Get new movies and tons of snacks for the kids. Let them go to town while you unpack. I like to unpack room by room. Get the big furniture set, then start on boxes. I do the kitchen first, then the bedrooms, then the family room, and then whatever else there is... Good luck!
